Trafalgar Street Market Day - it’s a huge day of shopping bargains, entertainment and fun for the whole family.
Head to Nelson City for the biggest day on the street. The Trafalgar Street Market Day, between Bridge and Hardy Streets, 9am until 3pm on Saturday 4th February.
There are stalls with everything from clothes and food to arts and craft and more! Be entertained with roving musicians, street performances, face painting and balloons.
There will also be local Nelson Kapa Haka group 'Te Manawaraiti" – a whanau performance group specialising in Maori performing arts. A perfect way to celebrate Waitangi weekend!
Nelson Escapes will be at Market Day and will be offering a great prize draw of a trip for two to the Abel Tasman National Park - your choice of sea kayaking or boat cruise/day walk.
Buskers from around the world are performing as part of the Buskerburgoo Festival at the top of Trafalgar Street, proudly brought to you by Nelson City Council.
And you will want to visit the famous Nelson Saturday Market, every Saturday from 8am - 1pm in Montgomery Carpark.
